friends on the bus

wesley has made a lot of new friends this year at school, but has a really special one on the bus. her name is amber and she really looks after wesley. she's in 5th grade and she's so sweet with him. she's always making him little treasures. last friday he got off the bus with this little gem. so fun, i just had to get a pic of her crafty genius. wesley has been carrying it around the house 'building' ever since (i've had to save it from lydia a couple of times)

this little girl saw that wesley was getting a picture taken and just jumped right in, it made me laugh

the kids were pretty excited about these hats we made and they make everything look good.

it's my BIRTHDAY!

so this past Sunday I turned 34. it was great, except for the surprise gift of daylight savings. i know daylight savings is planned but it always catches me by surprise and the spring forward is the worst. it was a great day and i felt so loved. thanks to all of you who made me feel so special, especially to my amazing husband. he took me to my favorite restaurant (bombay house), ate fish food with me (my favorite icecream), and gave me irises to plant in the front yard (my favorite flower). a happy day to me. here's some pics of me with some of my favorite little people. 34 years and life is great.
