Julie, I know you guys didn't tag us, but this looked like fun so austin and I decided to do, too.
1. If you could tell your teenage self something what would it be?
Kelly: I was pretty and very capable. I could do whatever I put my mind to and really succeed.
Austin: Go find Nick Riley, he's got a sweet RV.

2. Did you do any extracurricular activities in high school?
K: drama, a little art, a little poetry (whatever that magazine was), Miss Spanish Fork (I know, shocking, huh). I really wished I would have done dance or something and not cared what anyone thought of a goth on the drill team.
A: drama, ditching class, ditching dad when he catches me ditching class.

3. What did you do in your free time?
K:draw, read, hung out at park with friends, ride around with friends, enjoy no responsibilities
A: ditched class for more free time, hung out with friends, chased a cute little girl named Kelly.(K:actually, just made fun of me)

4. Coolest thing you did in high school...
K:I wasn't into being cool, I was into being disturbing.
A: mooned the drill team. j/k, but that would've been cool.

5. Did you have a boyfriend/girlfriend in high school?
K:4, so glad that all those relationships didn't go anywhere. it was mostly for the shock value, they had peircings, wore skirts, my makeup, ect. it was fun to introduce them to the parents
A: yes, lots, they just didn't know it. I still have parts of them in the freezer.

6. Songs that come to mind...
K:the cure, depeche mode, erasure, bauhaus, tones on tails, love and rockets, nin, oingo boingo, the cocteau twins, primus, janes addiction, nitzerebb, Lords of Acid, Thrill Kill Cult. I remember listening to Friday I'm in Love (the Cure) as we were driving to lunch in Ben's car, I made my mom put in nin while driving me to school one morning and she almost wrecked. We'd turn up our radio as loud as possible while driving out of the back parking lot, just to bug the cowboys.
A:Any song from Metallica pre black album, Anthrax Got the Time, and Bring the Noise, Primus Jerry was a Racecar Driver.

7. If you could change one thing what would it be?
K:as mentioned above I would have joined the drill team. maybe try for student council or something and get more involved and make more friends
A:I don't know, it was all good times

8. What did you think you would be when you grew up?
K:I was going to join national geographic and explore all the cool places in the movies, like medicine man, aracnophobia, jurasic park, ect. i also wanted to make my own dinosaurs. i knew that i'd always be a mom, though so I'd have to find a way to pack the kids around with me without them getting eaten by a dinosaur.
A: a larger version of myself.

9. Picture of self
those are classified (we'll try to get our prom picture up sometime. that is just soooo cute!)

10. Craziest thing you did in high school...
K:this is a long story. my friend wendy and I thought it would be cool to take advantage of the bounce back to lagoon offer. we rode the bus to ogden (we had both just dyed our hair violent red and were wearing all black in july), no one would sit by us. we had a great first day at lagoon. well, we had told our parents that we were going to sleep over at another friend's home. we sort of lied to them. Jeanette lived in south jordan. we really hadn't planned well and Jeanette was grounded and we couldn't stay with her. We waited around at the cross roads mall (making friends with a couple other goths and getting all sorts of "witch" comments yelled in our directions) until the last bus to South Jordan. Then we rode it out to her house and sprung her from her prison. she snuck out and called two of her friends that had a car to come pick us up. these two guys show up and take us up to point of the mountain. we drove to the peak up above the gravel pits and everything, a very nice view. we stayed up there for a few hours just hanging out. around 1am we started back down, the road was dirt and very rough. we bounced like three feet high. the transmission or something went out on the old thing and we ended up having to coast down the rest of the way. one of the guys said his parents lived the closest and we definately couldn't call my mom, wendy's parents nor Jeanette's. so we abandoned the car and started walking. we ended up walking past the prison (afraid at any second some escaped serial killer would leap over the wall and make us his next victims) and a dead dog (it was really gross) and clear over to the other mountain range across the way. it was around 6am when we finally got to his mom's house. she was asleep so we took her car and he drove us to a bus stop by south town mall. wendy and i decided to bag lagoon and we rode the bus back to the university mall. we fell asleep in one of the pits that used to be there with the benches around it. when we woke up all these grouchy old people who use the mall for walking were staring at us, two very rumpled and disheveled girls that were obviously up to no good. we finally called our parents around 11am and told them we wanted to come home. we never told them what we had been up to all night.
A:i had the FBI get me out of class for building bombs, faked my friends death, you know, the usual crazy stuff.
